About-Me

Cheryl Gottesman

Hi, I’m Cheryl Gottesman — founder of Redeemed Wellness, Certified Revelation Wellness Instructor, and Certified Live Well Health Coach. I love Jesus, laughter, family, singing, tacos, authenticity, and meaningful community.

You’ll most often find me in the kitchen. Cooking for my family and friends is one of the primary ways I show love. Our home is frequently filled with people sharing meals, stories, and laughter—and that brings me so much joy. An added bonus is when friends join me in the kitchen to cook together. It’s truly one of my favorite things. I also love to sing… even though I might be one of the worst singers you’ll ever hear. I sing anyway—at the top of my lungs. You may even catch a “Cheryl’s Car Concert” on social media if you need a good laugh.

I haven’t always lived an active or healthy lifestyle. As a teenager, I was naturally thin and never learned the value of caring for my body. In my early adulthood, I neglected my health—eating poorly, binge drinking, and avoiding movement altogether. Then, in my late 20s and early 30s, I swung to the opposite extreme, obsessing over my body. I tried every fad diet, diet pill, and diet drink, and exercised to the point of exhaustion.

When I became a mom, I poured every ounce of energy into my family and left nothing for myself. I made every excuse imaginable for why I didn’t have time to exercise or care for my own well-being.

In my late thirties, I slowly found my way back to movement and healthy eating. As I began healing my relationship with my body, God stirred something deeper in me—a compassion and calling to encourage other women on their own wellness journeys. That’s when I found Revelation Wellness. After months of participating in worship-infused fitness classes, I felt God gently nudge me toward instructor training. I said yes and became a Certified Revelation Wellness Fitness Instructor at the end of 2019.

Then, in 2025, God opened the door for another opportunity—becoming a Certified Revelation Wellness Live Well Health Coach. This next step deepened my passion to walk alongside women as they learn to love God and love their bodies with grace and freedom.

Through this journey, I’ve learned that fitness can be an act of worship. Movement doesn’t have to be punishment—it can be joy. My heart is to help others shift their mindset from “I have to exercise” to “I get to move.” When we care for our bodies with gratitude, freedom, and intention, we honor the Lord with all that we are.

Redeemed Wellness exists to help women steward their bodies, minds, and daily rhythms through Christ-centered wellness, sustainable habits, and grace-filled guidance—so they can live renewed, whole, and aligned with God’s purpose.
